Ok 3rd times the charm

Trash portraits, and diptych portrait ideas are on back burner for now. Still life trash sculpture money idea is whats happening now for the final.

Shooting with Mamiya. Plan is to create as many images as possible and hopefully find a coherent story/theme with them.

  1. i really like whats going on with this image. like i told you in class i really like the colors and think the composition of the trash sculpture is strong. i like the shallow depth of field as well. i think u should consider trying to figure out if you have a message that you want to show or put out there with your images before you shoot rather then shoot as much and possible and then search for a story/theme.

  2. i really like where this is going, the rusted look and the shiny dime kinda represents like power of money to our society, i like how u didnt go crazy with the screws and kept it simple its easier for the eye to handle

  3. I love the depth of field and simplicity of this image. I couldn't help but notice Kennedy's head on the coin. It seems you are trying to make sure someone notices the face on the coin because of its position and it being specifically placed right side up. I like that you didn't go crazy with the screws and background. It's an interesting image, and you should continue in this direction.
