Portfolio Update

so this has turned out to be extremely difficult and i find myself going into different directions with it. i am trying to figure out the kinks.  there is a lot i could do with the text and im  experimenting with how the projector and the camera can work together. here are some test images i have done. Im thinking i may not mind the text blurred from movement however i need to maintain proper lighting on my subject while still using different ways to hide the model's identity. the following shots are experimentations. seeing how the text can wrap around the subject and disguise it as well. i have rented my own projector from I.T. that i will have on tuesday so i will be able to have more control over the text (opposed to the projector attached to the ceiling)let me know if any of them spark ideas. thanks.

  1. I think you need to think about what you want the focus to be. Text or figure. I would consider the type a little more. I do like the slightly blurred text, it gives the image that nervous kind of feeling.
Go to Dafont.com and search through the grunge, eroded, destroy, or horror fonts. It's a really great resource and most of the fonts are free.

  2. thanks for the cite. they are really cool fonts but since i am doing 5 other different secrets the style of fonts would all have to be different. Im worried that if i dont keep the font kind of neutral and the same for all of the pictures as a constant, it may disturb the series and stop it from being cohesive. or it might be distractive since im going to try to focus on the figure. ill try it out though! thanks

  3. wow very deep lol!

I feel the same way as caroline

i think the most powerful one is the 1st the text and figure keep it simple. for the 1st one i would maybe put a little more light on the figure so you can just make out the head of the figure but i wouldn't put a face on them
